Walk

Where possible, we would encourage as many students as possible to walk or cycle to school. If walking, we recommend walking with a friend and ensure you to stick to main pathways and well lit areas. Students are reminded that they are our ambassadors when out in the school community and are to act in a respectful and responsible manner.

Cycling

The school actively encourages cycling and provides covered bicycle storage and a limited number of helmet lockers.

You should always wear a cycling helmet when cycling. Front and Rear lights must be used at dusk or when dark. Front and rear reflectors must be present on bicycles and a working bell or horn must be attached.

Car drop off

Whilst we are adjacent to the LiveWire facility and car park, we wish to restrict the number of vehicles entering this area at this busy time so that all our students remain safe. If you do use the LiveWire car park, please take the first right as you enter and drop off/pick up your child from there.

Please take extra care if driving down Barrow Hall Lane as there are a number of blind spots and please be courteous to residents along the Lane and not block driveways.

Please do not drop off or pick up your child from Stockdale Drive. A large number of parents regularly block the road and driveways and this causes many issues for residents.

We ask that you refrain from dropping off or making a U turn in the entrances, either on Barrow Hall Lane, Stockdale Drive or at LiveWire.

All Parents/Carers who routinely transport students to and from school are requested to use the suggested drop-off and pick-up points located away from the school site and in safe locations which are within reasonable walking distance of the school.
