Great Sankey High School is excited to provide students with a large selection of eBooks on 'Wheeler's ePlatform.' It can be accessed via a link on the Great Sankey High School website under 'information' and 'useful links.' Students can sign in with their current log in credentials.
The ePlatform mobile apps are the easiest, fastest, and most enjoyable way to read and listen to a huge range of titles from your eLibrary. It’s quick, simple, and free to install. Within minutes you’ll be able to read your library eBooks anywhere, any time, on most devices. The ePlatform app makes it easy to borrow read and listen on your iPad, iPhone, Android Phone, Tablet or Windows 8/10 device – without downloading any additional software. You can even read and listen offline. Just log in once and begin reading; when you exit, your place is automatically bookmarked and you can begin reading again with just one click.
Users can download an eBook for 2 weeks. Resources can be renewed if they haven't been reserved by another user. If eBook has been reserved, it can be placed in their 'holds' list until the platform gives them a date of when it is next available. eBooks can be searched via Fiction/Non-Fiction, Children and Teen, as well as (AR book level for year 7 and 8 students). You can also change the colour of the screen, font size, etc. make, highlight, export, and print notes.
There are currently over 2,000 titles in total and more on the way! Part of the collection includes a section on 'Wellbeing.'
