We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding achievements of Charlotte Longworth in 9T1, who continues to excel as both a high-level gymnast and elite cheer athlete.
Charlotte, who trains over 20 hours a week, has recently earned the opportunity to compete at two prestigious international events. Her dedication, discipline and commitment to her sport are truly remarkable, and we are delighted to celebrate her success.
In May, Charlotte will travel to the Netherlands with Academy Cheer to compete in the 2025 Future Cheer Amsterdam Qualification Event. This major international competition brings together hundreds of top-level cheer teams all vying for a prestigious ‘Summit Bid’—a qualification for the World Championships in Orlando in 2026. Charlotte and her team will fly out on Friday 9th May and return on Sunday 11th May. The event is a huge milestone for the team and an incredible opportunity to represent their country on an international stage.
As if that wasn’t enough, Charlotte has also qualified to compete at the USAIGC Gymnastics World Championships in Las Vegas, June 2025. Her journey to qualification has been nothing short of inspiring—travelling across the UK and to Germany since October 2024, competing in events that culminated in the Nationals held in London over Easter. There, she not only achieved the required score to qualify, but also came away with medals including 1st place on Vault and 3rd place on Bars.
Charlotte’s success is a reflection of her incredible work ethic, talent, and perseverance. We are immensely proud of her achievements and will be cheering her on as she takes on the international stage in both cheerleading and gymnastics.
Well done, Charlotte—we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
