Evie Invited to Youth America Grand Prix in Spain

We are delighted to share some exciting news about Evie, one of our talented dancers, who has been invited to compete in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) this December in Sant Cugat, an affluent suburb of Barcelona.
This is a huge honour for Evie and a wonderful opportunity to showcase her dedication and passion for dance on an international stage.
About the Competition
The Youth America Grand Prix is one of the world’s most prestigious ballet competitions. Each year, it attracts hundreds of young dancers from across the globe and is watched closely by directors and teachers from leading vocational ballet schools who are often scouting for new talent.
Evie, who trains at Bella Danza Studios in Macclesfield, will perform one or two classical ballet variations along with a contemporary solo. The competition also includes masterclasses delivered by internationally renowned teachers, giving dancers the chance to develop their skills and learn from the very best.
For many competitors, YAGP offers life-changing opportunities, with scholarships and places on summer and Easter intensives often awarded. Performances are usually streamed worldwide on YouTube, giving family, friends, and supporters the chance to watch along.
Evie’s Dance Journey
We have previously celebrated Evie’s achievements in dance, and her invitation to YAGP is a natural progression in what has already been an inspiring journey. Bella Danza Studios take only a handful of students to this level each year, and Evie’s selection is a true testament to her hard work, discipline, and love for dance.
Looking Ahead
The competition begins on Wednesday 3rd December and runs throughout the week. Everyone at school is incredibly proud of Evie, and we are excited to follow her journey as she prepares for this remarkable experience.
We wish her the very best of luck as she takes this next step, and we cannot wait to celebrate her success.
