On Thursday 19th June, the BHT stage played host to our Summer Showcase — a brilliant evening of music and drama, with over 100 students involved across a wide variety of performances.

Families, friends and staff packed the hall to enjoy an eclectic mix of acts, kicking off with our talented School Orchestra, followed by the ever-popular Ukulele & Guitar Ensemble. Our KS3 Drama Club delighted the audience with scenes from Inside Out and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of our younger performers.

Special solo moments were provided by Year 11 leavers Ethan and Georgie, both of whom gave memorable farewell performances.

The tempo picked up with an energetic set from our Year 12 Rock Band, before a well-earned interval gave the audience a chance to take part in our raffle, which offered a fantastic selection of prizes.

The second half of the show kept the excitement going, with the KS4 Drama Club bringing characters to life in their performances of The Avengers and The Hunger Games. The Samba Band added a lively beat to the evening, while Year 13 leaver Alison, joined by Peter, gave a touching final performance.

To round off a brilliant evening, the Sankey Singers and Wicked Show Band brought the house down with their uplifting musical finale.

The atmosphere throughout the evening was full of pride and support for the performers, with many parents and carers commenting on how much they enjoyed seeing the talents of our students on stage.

A huge thank you to everyone who performed, supported and attended the event — and to all those who contributed raffle prizes. Keep an eye out for our gallery of photos capturing the best moments of the night!
